Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Centrio ("we", "us", "our") sells products to consumers in South Africa through this online store. This policy explains when you can return an item and receive a refund, exchange, or repair.

We do not offer change-of-mind returns or exchanges as a matter of store policy. If you simply change your mind about an item, no longer want it, or find it cheaper elsewhere, we are not obliged to accept a return outside of the statutory cancellation right below. Please review product descriptions, images, and specifications carefully before purchasing.

1. Your right to cancel (cooling-off period)

Because this is an online store, your purchase is an electronic transaction under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECT Act"). Under section 44 of the ECT Act, you may cancel your order without giving a reason and without penalty within 7 (seven) calendar days of receiving your goods.

  • To cancel, notify us in writing (email is fine) within the 7-day period.
  • Goods must be returned unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and tags included.
  • You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the goods are defective or were not what you ordered.
  • Once we receive the returned goods in the required condition, we will refund your payment within 30 days.

This cooling-off right does not apply to:

  • goods made or personalised to your specifications;
  • goods that, by their nature, cannot be returned (e.g. used items, unsealed hygiene/grooming products, opened consumables);
  • goods likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly; and
  • unsealed audio, video, or software media once the seal has been broken.

2. Faulty, unsafe, or incorrectly supplied goods

Separately from the cooling-off right above, the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA") gives you rights we cannot exclude, regardless of our change-of-mind policy. If a product is defective, unsafe, of poor quality, or doesn't match its description, you may — within 6 (six) months of delivery — request a repair, replacement, or refund at no cost to you. If you received the wrong item, we'll replace it or refund you in full, including delivery charges, at no cost to you.

3. How to request a return

  1. Email us at centrioza@gmail.com with your order number, the item(s), and the reason for the return.
  2. We'll confirm whether your return qualifies under Section 1 or Section 2 and send return instructions.
  3. Please don't send items back before receiving return instructions.

4. Refunds

Approved refunds go to your original payment method. Cooling-off cancellations are refunded within 30 days of us receiving the returned goods (per the ECT Act). Refunds for defective, unsafe, or incorrectly supplied goods are processed within 15 business days of us receiving the returned goods.
